Cala Bona

The classical tourist resort of Cala Millor has one of Mallorca's best beaches and a good nightlife. The first hotels were built in the 1960s and along today's coastline, you'll find big, white hotels in classic charter style. During the winter season, most hotels and bars close. However, most shops are open year-round, although some shop owners take a month's vacation in winter time.

Along the beach, a pine and palm-lined promenade runs that very well-attended. Both the promenade and the parallel main street one block up the road are car-free. There are shops, restaurants, music bars and several discos. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Not far from Cala Bona, you find the exclusive ville area of the Costa de los Piños coastline, housing both residents and summer tourists. A hotel, a beach and a 9-hole golf course are the activities available. An additional golf course with associated hotel is located 5 minutes by car, approx. from Cala Millor. Other popular activities include car safaris, horse riding and go-carts.

Overall evaluation:
The resort does everything possible to live up to its name 'the best bay', and the wide sandy beach is very well-kept and clean.

Child friendly:
On the 1.5 km long beach, you're able to do various types of water sports, and there's also a diving school.
