In order to bring you the BEST and most exciting overview of some of the many playful and funfilled possibilities for children in Mallorca, we proudly present the input below - irrespectively of the season:
Adventure
Experience Mallorca through the eyes of a child, fascinated by the many magical worlds and escapes to be made on the island - ranging from pirates to underwater adventure:
PALMA AQUARIUM - marine park and aquarium with a huge range of animal species and underwater worlds.
Open throughout the year.
MARINELAND - marine park with dolphins, sea lions and parrots in Costa d'en Blanes.
Open from March 25 to October 31, 2019, when it'll close down for the season. Daily opening hours are 09:30 - 17:30; however, on all days in July and August until 18:00.
Water parks
A lot of days are sizzling hot in Mallorca, but you'll find plenty of opportunities to cool down in one of the island waterparks and get a chilling and wet experience to be remembered:
AQUALAND - large waterpark near Arenal and Palma airport.
Open from May 13, 2019.
WESTERN WATER PARK - large waterpark in Magaluf with activities for the entire family and a much-visited theme park during Summer and high season.
Open from May 20, 2019.
KATLANTIS SPLASH PARK - small waterpark inside the adventure park of Katmandu in Magaluf (mostly targeted younger children).
Follows the opening hours of KATMANDU mentioned below.
HIDROPARK - large waterpark with activities for the entire family, located in Alcúdia.
Open from May 1 to October 30, 2019. Opening hours in May, June, September and October are 10:00 - 17:00, whereas opening hours in the high season months of July and August are 10:00 - 18:00.
Game/ Theme parks
If the sun is too strong, or one of the rare island showers strikes: Have a cup of coffee, while the children play in an in-door game or theme park. Or take a day-trip to one of the many adventure parks and enjoy a couple of action-packed hours of active fun for the entire family:
KATMANDU - large theme park and adventure house in Magaluf with multiple activities for the entire family.
Open from April to October 14, 2019.
PALMA JUMP - in-door area filled with trampolines for children and grown-ups of all ages. Also wide range of fitness activities.
Opening hours: Every day from 09:00 - 22:00; however, Friday until 23:00 and Saturday until 24:00.
JUNGLE PARK - large out-door theme park with climbing activities for children from the age of 4.
Open from April 2019; however, with some days only available for groups with previous reservation. Closed every Monday.
Sports activities for the entire family
For anyone wishing to spend an active holiday and / or some active hours together over the week-end: Book one of the fun and sporty island activites and have a wonderful time in the company of family and friends:
GOLF FANTASIA - a miniature golf oasis and green paradise in the heart of Palmanova.
Open for the 2019 season from April.
KARTING - gokart for children and adults in Magaluf.
Open throughout the year.
PAINTBALL FANTASY - paintball facility close to Alcúdia.
Opening hours: From 10:00 to 20:00 upon previous reservation.
Animal and nature
Would you like to spend some enjoyable hours out the home with your entire family - young and old? If you're interested in experiencing the beautiful nature and landscapes of Mallorca, we recommend that you visit:
LA RESERVA - an amazing natural reserve with loads of activities for children, and where the entire family will experience nature first-hand and up-close. There are animals in integrated petting zoos and marked hiking trails.
RANCHO GRANDE - a beautiful yard near Alcúdia with animals and activities such as riding.
