Breathtaking view from Formentor

The Formentor Peninsula is like a dramatic full stop - an iconic rocky peninsula, pointing out from the extreme tip of the Tramunatana mountains. It's said to be Mallorca's wildest area in terms of nature - full of beautiful expanses and steep drops - where many people drive or hike to make the most of the area's beauty. Formentor belongs to the Pollensa area, primarily attracting active residents and visitors, all of whom set out to to experience nature and its elements at its wildest and finest. 

The road to Formentor goes through steep curves and bends, and it's surrounded by beautiful landscapes. In fact, it's lined with beautiful pines, fragrant oregano, cactus and palm trees - and at the very tip, you'll see the iconic lighthouse with the shiny silver roof.

Remember to make stops at all viewpoints, if at all possible, because the view is, indeed, On clear days, you can see all the way to the neighbouring island of Menorca.
