Algaida

Although Algaida is known to be a sleepy old town in the middle of Mallorca, it's almost consistently mentioned in all tourist guides as worth visiting. It's considered ideal if you want to spend a couple of days in the countryside and / or have a good starting point for exploring the island further - either carrying your golf bag or riding your bicycle. The beaches around Palma are located only a 20 minutes drive away, and the town glass factory is a constant source of fascination for its many visitors. In short: The town of Algaida is a great opportunity to experience the authentic Mallorca.
