Cala Figuera

Cala Figuera is located in the northernmost part of Mallorca and only a few kilometers away, you'll find the popular viewpoint of Cap de Formentor. 

Overall evaluation: 
Cala Figuera is a beach located deep inside a cove surrounded by mountains and is, thus, very inviting. However, you must be aware that in many places, you'll encounter more gravel than sand, and that the otherwise clear water may contain large stones in certain areas. 

Child friendly: 
Cala Figuera is not particularly child-friendly - nor is the walk leading to it or the beach experience itself: From the free car park, you'll have to walk a good 1 km to the beach by a rather steep path, and upon your arrival to it, you'll find no possibilities to rent water sports equipment, although the clear water and the surrounding cliffs create good conditions for snorkeling.
