For a sports enthusiast in Mallorca, it's almost impossible not to get taken in by Spain's national sport #1: Football. The island's pride and joy is Real Mallorca, playing in Palma throughout the season from early September to mid April. The club has lived a rather turbulent life, and  after spending a short time in La Liga, Real Mallorca is now in Segunda División. Regardless of the achievements, it's always a great experience to watch a match at the local stadium, and a fun way to get to see the locals actively cheer the game they love more than anything else.
