The beach in Portals Nous

Portals Nous is a small, exclusive area, especially known for its many good and expensive restaurants as well as for its marina, where the million boats lie side by side. The city is located about 10 km from Palma's city centre.  

Overall evaluation: 
The beach is called Playa de Portals Nous. It's about 100 m long and 20 m wide, and the sand is fine and the water clear. It's well-visited during summer, but rarely super crowded. You should, however, come early if you want to secure a sunbed and an umbrella. 

Child friendly: 
There's usually plenty of space to play, and although the beach is not particularly shallow, it's considered to be quite nice for children.
