Alaró is a small, cosy village located in the valley district between Sierra de Tramuntana and Es Pla. It's a rustic and unique experience, bringing you a different glimpse of life in Mallorca. In recent years, Alaró has won the hearts of many tourists and holiday visitors - especially hikers and bikers - but the village and its surroundings are so much more than an idyllic vacation spot. It's also become a popular area for newcomers and settlers from all over the world.

With its central square and many cosy restaurants, Alaró is the quintessence of a fine, local atmosphere, and among its other attractions are the near-by mountains and castle, built thousands of years ago by the moors and now a ruin.
