It means the world to both me and the entire team behind BEST OF Palma, working every day to make your experience of our search engine even better by continuously making sure that all information is updated, that new companies are presented, and that new functions and features are uploaded – everything to make it easier to find a strong selection of all the very best that Palma and Mallorca have to offer.
2018 was a terrific year! The year during which we launched the Scandinavian version of BEST OF Palma in Danish on www.bestofpalma.dk, seeking to reach the many Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish inhabitants in Mallorca + the many additional Scandinavian tourists visiting our island on a regular basis. It also became the year during which we launched the global version of BEST OF Palma on www.bestofpalmademallorca.com in English, so as to reach as many as possible of the 900,000 islanders of different nationalities, and simultaneously create a lighthouse of information, events and adventure for the 17+ million yearly tourists visiting Mallorca from all corners of the world.
However, BEST OF Palma is not only the result of a very intensive development process and extensive writing taking place over mor than six months in 2018. It’s the culmination of more than 8 years of thought and market investigation in order to find the BEST platform, the BEST name, the BEST sparring partners and the BEST concept. Thus, it’s also with the BEST OF feelings that we now look back on our launch in October and November 2018, bringing you:
A company index that’ll offer a wide and strong selection of the opportunities you and many others need in your daily life to interact with various types of companies – ranging from craftsmen to yoga instructors, from jewellers to veterians and dentists, etc.
An event calendar that’ll keep you constantly updated on an extensive selection of events taking place throughout the island, so as to allow you to be fully aware of what’s going on near you.
Sights, sports and adventures of nature – also regularly updated with new hiking routes, museums and new gallery exhibitions, etc.
An overview of many of Mallorca’s fabulous towns and beaches, offering you an overall idea of where to go on your next outing with friends and family … and much, much more.
We’ve just entered a brand new year, and obviously we have big plans and even bigger ambitions for BEST OF Palma in 2019.
We’re currently running a campaign towards hotels and restaurants, so as to be able to show a wide and strong selection within these two categories, thereby supplementing and completing your benefits from using BEST OF Palma. In addition, we’re in contact with a number of important players within fun leisure activities to do with children, so as to be able to present a broad overview of the options found in Mallorca within this area also.
In short: We’re very much looking forward to an exciting year, and to continuously making our very BEST OF efforts to give you an instant and powerful overview of the events, companies and possibilities existing in Mallorca. For us, it’s all about creating the BEST platform for you – regardless of whether you’re a resident or tourist in need of inspiration to make your holiday in Mallorca even better, or whether you’re looking for information on companies and shops that’ll make your everyday life easier.
